Saves time and money when installing doors and trim that are finished and ready to be installed.
We take the guesswork out of cutting casing for doors. There is no way that a finish carpenter can be as consistent with his $45 chop saw than the $10,000 machine we have to cut precise 45 degree angles for door casing.
We can apply the casing to one or both sides of the door jambs if required. (Split jambs come apart in the middle, making it possible to install a door with the casing applied on both sides. Flat jambs can have the casing applied to only one side, since they do not come apart, but we can cut and clamp the casing for the other side so you don't have to.)

Door Details

All doors are 1-3/8" thick x 6'-8" high unless requested otherwise.

Most doors are available in heights of 7'-0", and 8'-0".

Most doors are available in 1-3/4" thick.

All pine and oak standard jambs (flat and split) are 4-5/8", all poplar standard jambs (flat and split) are 4-9/16", unless requested otherwise.

All single swing doors to have a lockset prep of 2-1/8" diameter with a 2-3/8" backset, 3 standard brass colored hinges and ogee door stop, unless specified otherwise. (See the hardware page for the complete list of 29 finishes available.)

All Double Door units are assembled to ensure correct fit, and color matching, but will be shipped knocked down to ensure it is not damaged during transit.

Shipping is included if deliveries are made within 200 miles of Van Wert, Ohio. All other orders will be shipped via common carrier and will incur a shipping fee.

All common carrier orders will be shipped knocked down and crated to avoid damage during transit; if ND&T is delivering, we can ship complete assembled door units with or without trim per the purchasers request.

Double doors, door slabs or bifold doors are not pre-drilled for locksets, unless specified.

2 brass colored ball catches are installed in all double doors, unless specified otherwise.

Door drawings on the website or order form may not be exactly to scale. Narrow doors and bifolds will only be 1 panel wide. We reserve the right to re-proportion non-standard doors. You must request shop drawings if you want to make sure the door proportions are what you expect. Doors 1'-6" or less will have narrow side stiles unless noted otherwise.
